Between movies, we all participated in a creative activity based on The Iron Giant.
The Iron Giant chose to be kind and helpful even though he was designed to be violent and destructive. He showed us that we, too, can choose to be a different and better version of ourselves. After the movie, local artist Dale Peterson talked to us about how he takes old, unwanted things (some might even call them junk!) and turns them into something different and better. Then we all tried it ourselves by creating unique and artistic robots from a pile of old parts.
